Annette Gershwartzeiler, 32, was taken to Bird’s Run General Hospital on Sunday. She was found bleeding profusely from deep cuts and scratches on her abdomen and upper legs. Police say Ms Gershwartzeiler sustained the injuries from her 8 cats, who attacked the jingle bells attached to her belly button piercing as she was exiting her bathroom.
She was treated and released, and a full recovery is expected.
